Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:

Receiving an award at the end of both seasons made me feel proud of all the hard work I put into improving myself. From gym training sessions, to private coaching, to mindset building and practice before practices I have seen myself improve quickly – and it felt great to see that my coaches recognized it as well.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?

Coaching younger kids at sports. I love children and there is great satisfaction in mentoring them and helping them get better at the sport while also helping build their confidence.

I also love food. Eating it, cooking it, thinking about it.

Who are your role models and why?

My parents are my role models. They have shown me the value of hard work and are always there for me to support me in everything I want to accomplish.

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?

High school: Track and Field, Basketball and Badminton. Being involved in school sports is lots of fun because I get to participate and compete alongside my best friends which keeps it fun. It also builds my overall athleticism which will only help my performance as a setter in the long run.
