Describe how you work in a team with your partners.

I always prefer to work in a team setting. I’m very open to everyone’s ideas and usually tend to be the leader in that environment. 

Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them.

I received MVP and when awarded I felt many emotions. Happiness was one of them as well as being proud and accomplished. 

Involvement in other sports or extra-curricular. Why is it important for you?

I did DECA which is a business club as well as CREATE which is a leadership conference. These both helped increase my communication skills as well as improve my teamwork. 

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?

I love camping and getting to experience living in different environments. I also enjoy hanging with both my friends and family. Whenever I’m with them I always get to share some good stories and laughs. 

Who are your role models and why?

One of my biggest role models is Andre De Grasse. As someone who grew up in the same community and goes to a school in the same district, he inspires me as both an athlete and person. From getting an American scholarship as a Canadian to being one of the best athletes in the world, as well as the charities he has run and how he uses his fame for good. 

Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them.

What program would you like to attend in school?

I would like to major in business, either in marketing and sales or retail.

How do you envision your school life in college/university?

I picture myself being a student athlete living on campus with a roommate. Balancing academics with sports as well as having a social life. Expanding and pushing myself out of my comfort zone to meet new people and learn new things.
