Describe how you work in a team.
I am straight to the point and wish to listen to everyone’s opinions and insights. I take into account everyone’s values and strengths, so as to encourage them in those areas. I also wish to see everyone as an individual, and hope to grow and raise with my team, celebrating wins and learning from losses together.
Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
I had received an athletic highlight from my coach of being the hardest worker. When I had received it, it felt as if all the work I had put in had been acknowledged. For example, the time I spent outside of practice watching my own videos, analyzing myself, and practicing my technical skills.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
My interests are working out and spending time with family and playing with my pets. I enjoy working out as sometimes it’s a way to cool off from stress of a test or to simply expend energy. I enjoy spending time with family particularly board games or lightly playing volleyball and doing drills with my sister.
Who are your role models and why?
One of my role models is Kiera McCarles, she currently plays volleyball at Rhode Island University. I look up to her because she is an amazing athlete who was able to, in her high school years, manage to keep good grades whilst keeping consistent and good gameplay at her rep team. The fact that she was able to go from a libero to a setter inspires me, as I aspire to become either a setter or defensive specialist. Knowing in the fact that she was able to overcome her height and prove herself to be adequate in several positions makes me strive to follow in her footsteps.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
I have tried involving myself in school plays and sports. I believe they are important because they can foster several life lessons, which can be used for volleyball. This being in other sports, how to adapt, how to learn new things, and how to connect two different things to one. I also believe extracurriculars like school plays help by fostering teamwork and seeing the outcome of everyone completing their roles necessarily.
Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?

What program would you like to attend in school?
In a school, I would like to look towards a nursing or radiology program.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
When I envision my school life I think of a community in which I can flourish in my physical ability and learning capability. This being a university that can help me achieve a development goal of increasing how much strength and power I can achieve from my muscles. I also envision a university in which I can flourish from an academic viewpoint, one which will allow me to have opportunities for future employments and varying experiences.
