Describe how you work in a team with your partners.
I believe I am a true team player by always bringing my team up in rough moments. I’ve always been supportive of my coaches and teammates, whether I’m on the court or not.
Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
MIP (2021-2022) When I got this award I couldn’t help but be proud of myself for working so hard that year and receiving that award.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
I enjoy spending time in the gym working out, it just gives me a chance to focus on myself and helps me keep in shape. I also enjoy the outdoors, in almost any weather just being able to go on a walk or even sit outside is very peaceful to me. Another thing I also enjoy is spending time with my family, my family is very important to me so I love to be able to help and spend time with them.
Who are your role models and why?
My role models are my parents and my coaches. My parents have out in so much time into my career and continue to motivate me to continue playing and have really helped me achieve a lot of my goals. Every single year my coaches they teach me something different and show me different perspectives on certain skills that really have helped me improve, I know that the coaches I’ve had have put in as much time and effort into making me a better player.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
My involvement with my extracurricular activities is very important to me because it helps me meet new people and engage myself in society.
Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?
When receiving the honors with distinction award I felt so accomplished for putting a lot of handwork into my academics and it showed how I was able to handle both school and sports at the same time.
What program would you like to attend in school?
Currently I am looking into Kinesiology.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
I see it as a chance to work on my studies, meet new people and really help and engage with the opportunists there. It is also a great chance to improve my skills in volleyball and get some great coaching.
