Describe how you work in a team.
Although I am most comfortable in a leadership position I am able to adapt and fill the role that is needed. For my high school team this year we have the word trust on the inside of our sleeves. By doing my job and trusting my team to do theirs I can help my team out by fulfilling my position. I feel that I can bring energy and positivity to a team dynamic and make the team a better place.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
Outside of volleyball, I love to ride horses, weight train and watch hockey. I enjoy spending the time outdoors, whether it’s brushing and riding my horses, or being in the atmosphere of a hockey game.
Who are your role models and why?
My role models are my club coaches and my parents. Ryan and Shawn taught me the importance of trusting the process and the value of dedication to get where I want to go. The significance of a good work ethic and the necessity of balance was given to me by my parents and I am grateful for that everyday.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
Horseback riding – Gymkhana and some local ABRA barrel races
Badminton – provincially qualified in 2023
Track and Field – provincially qualified 2 years in a row
It is important to me to have other sports other than volleyball to stay active throughout off season and to represent my school at any tournament or meet they have.

What program would you like to attend in school?
I would like to take an education degree because of my passion for fitness and sports, as it has has such an impact on my life and I would love to be able to bring that to the younger generations that I would be teaching.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
I envision it as creating a future for myself by building independence, exploring new interests and career preparation. I also see it as an opportunity to create lasting friendships and memories that I can keep forever.
