Describe how you work in a team with your partners.
As an athlete, there are many situations that have to be dealt with, but I feel I am a person that no matter the outcome can overcome and adapt to the situation to either make it better or try to resolve it. I am very hard working and I make sure I keep school first while also managing volleyball.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
My family is always my main interest, I love being around them. It always makes me feel at home when I’m spending time whether it’s at a family dinner or watching my cousins playing sports.
Who are your role models and why?
My parents have always been my biggest role models. I know I always can look up to them and I know I can always talk to them. I am very fortunate to have parents that can provide these opportunities for me and help support all my dreams.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
Involvement in other sports is very important because sometimes getting caught up in school and volleyball can be a lot, so these other involvement opportunities can give a break to find other friends and try something new.
What program would you like to attend in school?
I am interested in pursuing a degree in Sports Medicine.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
I envision my life in university as busy, I say this because being a student-athlete requires a lot of time and dedication towards school and volleyball. Although it is something I am prepared for. Managing my time is going to be super helpful, especially if I don’t want to feel stressed out.
