What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
Outside of sports my primary interests are spending time with my family and friends as well as cooking. I love to help my father teach Taekwon-Do to the younger children. On my off time, I like watching volleyball videos.
Who are your role models and why?
My role models are my parents and all the coaches I have had the privilege to play under. I have learned so much from each coach. My father attends all the practices and tournaments and always encourages to do my best to achieve my goals.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
I started Taekwon-Do at the age of 5 and have enjoyed it very much. It has taught me Discipline, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit. These values have made me a stronger person that I am today.
Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?
I have made the Honor Roll for Grade 8, 9 and 10. It is a sense of accomplishment for me as I worked very hard to achieve this. It let’s me know that hard work pays off when doing both sports and school work.
What program would you like to attend in school?
Currently I am interested in Business Administration studies at University. I feel it is a good program for me to become a well rounded person.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
As an individual I understand the importance in excelling in academics as well as well as being a committed member of the volleyball team. I look forward to making new friends and learning from all coaches to improve the game I love the most.
