Describe how you work in a team.
On the sand I make sure I am communicating with my partner about strategy and how we can improve our game. I also try to have fun and be positive during the ups and downs of the game. This increases the chance of improving the outcome of the match, and also strengthens my relationship with my partner.
Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
When I won Provincials and Nationals for 15U beach, it felt like all my hard work had finally paid off. Any prior losses had strengthened me to persevere throughout the entire match, no matter what the score was. These wins taught me the lesson about staying positive and never giving up.
