Describe how you work in a team.

As a member of a team I describe myself as a team player. I am always adaptable and able to make rational decisions to help benefit my team. I enjoy setting up plays and love to see my teammates succeed.

Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:

When I won the Joan Harmon Top Female Athletic Award I was excited to have been recognized for my efforts.
When I won the the Gold Medal with my team at the Mile Zero Meltdown Tournament I was proud and grateful to have been able to win it with my team and proud of how phenomenal my team played.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?

My interests outside of volleyball include rodeo, I enjoy rodeo because it’s a vibe between human and animal that work together to pursue goals and achieve them.
Another interest I have is reading, I enjoy all types of books but my favorite genre is mystery.
Another interest I have is running. I enjoy running long distances because I like the physical exertion and the satisfaction of reaching your goal.

Who are your role models and why?

One of my role models is my mom. I have chosen my mom because of how well she can handle anything thrown in her direction. Another role model I have is Andi Jackson because of how versatile and talented she is as a Nebraska volleyball player. I would love to have the skills to play like her one day.

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?

Another sport I am involved with is high school rodeo. I have spent the past four years working on my events and improving. High school rodeo has taught me a lot of lessons I have been able to move over to the volleyball court. Rodeo is so inspirational because of all the women who have come before me that have spoken up to include more events for women in rodeo and create equal opportunities as well for young girls like me.

Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?

When receiving Principal’s Honour Roll and Honour Roll I felt proud and excited that I was able to achieve goals I had set for the year. I felt rewarded for my extra effort.

What program would you like to attend in school?

The program that I would like to attend in school is a Bachelor of Kinesiology to eventually get into Physiotherapy school to become a Physiotherapist

How do you envision your school life in college/university?

I would like to play volleyball while studying to get my Bachelors of Kinesiology. I see myself training and attending classes.
