Describe how you work in a team.
I am a huge team player, my team often looks to me for guidance and conflict resolution. I am able to refocus my teammates when things are not going our way. I make an effort to connect with all of them both on and off the court.
Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
2x Undefeated city championship- A city championship was the best way to end the undefeated seasons.
Provincial All Star- I felt supported by my coaches and teammates.
MVP of school volleyball team – I felt so honoured to receive this award.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
Modelling- I like being able to express myself in different creative ways.
Spending time with friends and family- the people I surround myself with shape who I become.
Travelling- I love new adventures and meeting new people.
Who are your role models and why?
My aunt who was named one of the top 100 female basketball players in the past 100 years. She encourages me to push myself to reach my full potential and she inspires me to never stop trying.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
Basketball, hiking, pickleball, biking – I love staying active.
Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?
Honour Roll- I felt recognized for all the time I put in to studying and bettering my academics.
What program would you like to attend in school?
I would to go into Law. My undergrad degree is flexible but would preferably like to take something related to law/psychology
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
I envision that there will be a lot of hard work in both academics and volleyball but I will be well supported by friends, family and teammates.
