Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
Being selected for multiple team Ontario programs – felt proud of the recognition and serves as a reminder that hard work and dedication can be rewarded. Being in the these high performance environments allows me to learn and grow with like minded athletes and coaches.
Winning 14U beach Nationals in 2023 was an amazing feeling and a huge honour. Such a great experience and an exciting environment. You can´t take short cuts and you have to put in the hard work and facing adversity teaches character. I felt like these lessons helped me an my partner achieve something we can be proud of.
Winning student athlete of the year in my first year of high school was also an honour. It´s a great feeling to have your athletic and academic accomplishments recognized by my teachers. I work equally hard in ther classroom as I do on the playing field.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
I like being on student council because allows me to make a positive impact on my school community. It gives me the opportunity to develop leadership skills, collaborate with different groups of people, and represent the interests of my peers.
