  • Hard Working
Describe how you work in a team.

I motivate and support the team with my energetic personality.
I work well with my team as well as having good communication.
I respect and listen to my teammates and coaches.

Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:

When I jumped from 10’2 to 10’3 I was happy with myself when I achieved one of my goals and that gives me the motivation to continue getting better on my volleyball journey.
When I got my very first MVP award I felt humbled to be recognized by the group of coaches that chose me. These achievements make me feel that hard work and dedication pays off.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?

I absolutely love reading it has always been one of my favourite things to do in my free time, it allows me to expand my vocabulary, imagination and creativity as well as learning new things.
From a very early age I have been attending Polish School which allowed me to get to know the beautiful culture, traditions and language of my family.
I like strategizing which introduced me to chess in school I was a part of the team and ended up winning the Championships with my peers. I find Chess to be a valuable advantage in the game of volleyball because strategy is the key to winning.

Who are your role models and why?

Jesus is my role model because he always gave, served and helped people in their time of need. I know that the strength, dedication and talent that I have been given is from him.
My parents are a very big part of my life because ever since I was young they taught me that if I want to achieve something I have to work hard and believe in myself, they were also the ones that introduced me to volleyball as well as my older sister who was already in volleyball prior to when I started.
Another one of my role models is Madison Skinner her dedication, discipline and focus has always driven me to fight for my dreams.

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?

From a very early age I have been attending Polish School which allowed me to get to know the beautiful culture, traditions and language of my family.
When I was younger I also had scouts after Polish school it taught me survival skills like Morse code to use if I was ever in an unfamiliar environment, it taught me leadership, teamwork and resourcefulness.
A sport that was introduced to me at a very early age was swimming, it built my confidence, taught me to listen to the instructor as well as observing.

Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?

When I got the Award of Student of the Year from my Elementary School I was very proud of the hard work, dedication, commitment and focus that resulted in my achievement.

What program would you like to attend in school?
