Describe how you work in a team.
I’m a very open-minded person when listening to others. I strive to achieve a goal with my team, ensuring everyone feels respected and valued by listening, encouraging and openly communicating with the team.
Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
Joining the Barrie Elites club: I felt so proud of myself for working hard, leading to finding the right team for me. I also felt so excited to work with my new teammates and improve together.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
I love animals! I love working with them and finding ways to improve their quality of life. I am fascinated about Animal Biology, so I love learning about different needs or different animals and the ways I could help them live healthier.
Who are your role models and why?
1. My parents
They always work so hard to support me and our family, so they will always be my inspiration to work hard and always help others.
2. Erik Shoji
He is such a skilled volleyball player, but more importantly he has such an uplifting attitude. He is always the player supporting his teammates and never gives up, making him a huge inspiration for me.
