Describe how you work in a team.

I am very good at knowing what my teammates strengths and weaknesses are and how each person works best on the team. As a setter this is important because I know what sets they need to have success.

Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:

When I won MVP for volleyball and handball for my Grade 9 year it felt amazing, I remember feeling so much joy as I walked up to the stage to receive my awards that I worked so hard to get.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?

I really enjoy baking and working out. Both of these help me clear my mind and just focus on what I’m doing at the moment. Working out also helps me improve my physical abilities and strength.

Who are your role models and why?

My parents have always been my role models because they have been there for me since the start and have always supported me with my goals.

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?

I played hockey from age 5 to 14, played ball hockey for 4 years and was on the provincial team 3 of the years. This year I also was on the school handball team. These are important to me because I always like to be busy and enjoy doing any sports I can. It also gives me an opportunity to play with friends and meet new people.

Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?

Getting Honors in Grade 9 felt amazing because I had to work really hard to get it this year, and having all the work payoff felt so good.

What program would you like to attend in school?
