Describe how you work in a team.

I take a leadership role. I am a driven athlete who takes responsibility for my actions, and holds myself accountable. I have good communication and work ethic. I am encouraging of my teammates and respect everyone on the court, whether that be my team or the opposing one and the referees too. I care for my teammates as if they are family. Support is something I truly stand by.

Who are your role models and why?

I would say my role models are my parents! My mom being a fire fighter, inspires me to push myself to be my best, and always strive to make myself 1% better everyday. My dad also being a firefighter, and a great role model in my life, is someone I can always count on to encourage me and hold me accountable to my goals that I have set. I love my parents because they show me that anything is possible, and being vulnerable and willing to fail and make mistakes is something that only makes you better!

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
