Describe how you work in a team with your partners.
I have a positive attitude and encourage teammates no matter the score.
I help to create a team culture where everyone feels included.
I can lead or follow; I do what’s best for my team.
Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
The athletic highlight that means the most to me thus far is being selected to Volleyball Canada’s National Excellence Program. I felt honoured to be selected and proud of my accomplishment.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
I am a family oriented person who loves going to the cottage, road trips, reading a good book or hanging out with friends.
Who are your role models and why?
My role model is my sister. I grew up watching her play volleyball and she inspired me to want to play too. I admire how organized she is and her determination in university. She is a fierce go-getter both on and off the court.
What program would you like to attend in school?
I am undecided at this time but I am interested in exploring careers in either child psychology, speech pathology or education.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
I envision working hard to balance both academics and varsity sport. I am looking for a close knit team that can become my home away from home. My determination both on and off the court will be an asset.
