What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
My interests outside of sports include cooking, working out, and playing the piano. I enjoy cooking because it’s fun to discover new recipes and see how adding different spices or ingredients can completely change a dish. I like working out because it makes me feel good and helps me stay healthy. Lastly, I enjoy playing the piano because it allows me to be creative with different sounds, and it’s really cool when I can take a piece of music I listen to every day and try to replicate it on a classical instrument.
Who are your role models and why?
My role models are my parents and friends. My parents inspire me with their hard work and constant self-improvement while supporting me in everything I do. I also look up to my friends, who push me to work harder through their dedication to academics and extracurriculars. Their drive motivates me to keep up and improve.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
At my school I am part of two student impact groups: the Catholic Student Leadership Impact Team’s charity subcommittee fundraises from the school community to support less fortunate communities across the entire school board. The Angel Foundation Team inspires and creates change both inside and outside the school community. The projects are funded by the Angel Foundation and allow us to be the change we want to see.
I completed National Lifeguard and swim instruction training in summer 2024 and worked as a swim instructor with Seal Swimming part-time through the 2024/2025 school year.
In summer 2025, after 4 years as camper, I worked as a Coach In Training at Madawaska Volleyball Camp, sharing responsibility for 14 campers in my cabin with a CIT partner.
For the 2024/2025 season, I am excited to be working part time as a junior coach for 41Six Volleyball Club 15UG Riptide, helping out with practices.
For strength and conditioning I follow the Iron Performance program daily. I also enjoy golfing and skiing/snowboarding, and cycling and swimming
Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?
I am a French Immersion student since SK and am working towards my French fluency certificate upon graduation.
My electives have been maths and sciences to prepare me for applying to an engineering program for post secondary.
What program would you like to attend in school?
I would like to attend an engineering program in school because I enjoy math, physics, and figuring out how things work and how to build them.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
