Describe how you work in a team.
I understand the importance of teamwork and am willing to do what is needed of me to help my team be successful. Sometimes that means playing a different position or being a positive leader both on an off the court.
Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:
Helping my team achieve our best results this season was very satisfying.
What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
I also enjoy listening to music and singing. I participated dance (tap, jazz, acro), musical theatre and trained in vocals. These activities helped me to be confident performing and speaking in front of others under pressure. I also like to cook!
Who are your role models and why?
Melissa Human Paredes- she has a positive attitude, she’s an excellent all- around player and amazing defender. She is the type of player that I aspire to be.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
I enjoy outdoor sports, especially beach volleyball, snowboarding and wake surfing. My favourite place is the beach, I love the ocean and sunshine. Other sports that I have participated in include Karate (brown belt), badminton, swimming and basketball.
