What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
Outside of sports, I am interested in various activities and hobbies, such as going to camp, spending time on the water and hanging out with my family and friends. I also enjoy working out as it helps me to stay strong and healthy. This also motivates my family to keep healthy.
Who are your role models and why?
My role models are my mom and my coaches. My mom taught me the importance of being a good person by always listening to others’ perspective, being kind and supportive. She instilled in me the value of being there for people and to always take pride in myself. On the other hand, my coaches help me to develop my strength and learn new skills. They inspire me to strive and thrive to be the best athlete that I can be and ensure that I have the best possible start.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
I believe that playing other sports is crucial to staying agile and competitive. For school, I try to participate in as many sports as possible such as volleyball, basketball, flag football, tennis, and badminton. This helps me improve my teamwork skills and keeps me physically active. Competing is something that I truly enjoy, and it brings me happiness.
