I support my partner through strong communication, positive body language, and leading by example. The needs of the team always come first. I approach training and competition with a fierce work ethic and a desire to improve every single day.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
I enjoy spending time with friends because they fill me with joy and bring the best out of me. Reading gives me an escape and lets me experience other perspectives. I enjoy travelling to experience other cultures and natural beauty. Being athletic outside of volleyball gives me a chance to appreciate movement outside the sport I love.
Who are your role models and why?

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
I play ultimate frisbee, flag football, and I snowboard. I love to play them because they all require such different skill sets from volleyball which makes me a better athlete. I enjoy the challenge of mastering all of them.
Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?
Valedictorian – This made me feel great because I felt that I was chosen not only for my grades and extra-curricular activities but for the impact I have on my peers.
4.0 GPA in first year of high school – this was rewarding because I put so much effort and time into being a good student and well-rounded person. I take tremendous pride in working hard at everything I do.
