Describe how you work in a team.

I work well in a team. I do my best to keep everyone optimistic as well as them keeping myself that way too. We have good communication and keep one another engaged. After this last high school season I had one team mate tell me that my leadership I gave on and off the court, showed him what he needs to do to as a leader to step on his basketball team.

Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:

Being the highest ranked 17UM team in Saskatchewan. This was a hard fought game against the 17U Huskies who we have a bit of a rivalry with, and we came out and won. It felt so great to have ended our season before Nationals on such a high note after so much work throughout the season.

Summit 17U MVP award. Getting this award was amazing, I had worked so hard in these past years to get were I am now, and it’s so great to be recognized for that.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?

Spending time in the outdoors/Bow Hunting/camping/hiking/biking/fishing
It is a great release from the stress of everyday life and there is also great excitement involved with it

Playing Piano
Playing piano helps keep my mind engaged as well as calm. It helps with coordination and is just fun.

Who are your role models and why?

Ran Takahashi
He is a phenomenal outside hitter setting up great plays and executing great hits and blocks. The way he plays is very crafty and smart and his play style is something I would like to make my own.

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?

Archery and Bow Hunting
It is important to me because its a way for me to relax as well as strengthening my mind and body.

Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?

Grade 10 and 11 Honor Roll With Great Distinction (90%-100%). It felt good to be recognized for having good grades and trying hard in school.
I received the highest mark in Native Studies 20.

What program would you like to attend in school?

I am looking for some more hands on programs going into school.

How do you envision your school life in college/university?

I hope, and am working towards being able to play volleyball for the college/university that I end up attending.
