Five words you can use to describe yourself as a high performance athlete.
Five words you can use to describe yourself off your field of play.
Describe how you work in a team.
As a high-performance athlete, my ability to work in a team with my partners is crucial for our collective success. Here’s a description of how I collaborate within a team:
Communication: Effective communication is the cornerstone of teamwork. I actively engage in open and honest communication with my teammates, coaches, and support staff. I listen attentively to others’ ideas, provide input when necessary, and make sure that everyone is on the same page regarding strategies, goals, and expectations.
Trust and Respect: Trust and respect are fundamental to any successful team. I trust my teammates’ abilities and judgment, and I show them the respect they deserve as individuals. This trust and respect create a positive and supportive team environment where everyone can thrive.
Role Clarity: I am aware of my role within the team and understand how it contributes to our overall success. Whether I’m a leader, a support player, or a specialist in a particular aspect of our sport, I embrace my responsibilities and execute them to the best of my ability.
Adaptability: Adaptability is essential in sports, as game situations can change rapidly. I am flexible and can adjust my approach or strategy as needed to meet the evolving demands of the game. I also respect my teammates’ adaptability, recognizing that their contributions may shift depending on the circumstances.
Accountability: I hold myself accountable for my performance and actions both on and off the field. If I make a mistake or fall short of expectations, I take ownership of it and strive to learn from it. Likewise, I expect my teammates to do the same, creating an environment where accountability leads to improvement.
Support and Encouragement: I actively support and encourage my teammates, celebrating their successes and providing encouragement during challenging times. I understand that positive reinforcement and motivation are vital for maintaining team morale and cohesion.
Work Ethic: I lead by example in terms of work ethic, showing dedication, and commitment to our shared goals. Whether it’s through consistent training, maintaining fitness, or pushing myself to improve, I inspire my teammates with my determination.
Conflict Resolution: In any team, conflicts may arise from time to time. I approach conflicts constructively, seeking resolution through open dialogue and compromise. I strive to find solutions that benefit the team as a whole.
Continuous Improvement: I am committed to continuous improvement, both as an individual athlete and as a team member. I actively seek feedback, analyze our performance, and work with my teammates and coaches to identify areas for growth and development.
In summary, my approach to teamwork as a high-performance athlete is built on effective communication, trust, adaptability, and accountability. I contribute positively to the team dynamic, understanding that our collective success relies on the contributions of every member.

Who are your role models and why?
I’ve been fortunate enough to grow up with a role model who has shaped my values, beliefs, and aspirations in profound ways. My dad, Michael Crowley, stands out as an exemplary figure and a guiding light in my life. One of the most inspiring qualities about my dad is his unwavering perseverance. His determination has taught me the invaluable lesson that obstacles are not roadblocks but stepping stones toward growth and success. Moreover, his unwavering support has been a constant source of strength for me. Whether it’s encouragement in pursuing my dreams or offering guidance through life’s complexities, his presence has been a reassuring anchor. His belief in my abilities has bolstered my confidence and given me the courage to pursue my aspirations. Above all, my dad’s caring nature knows no bounds. His empathy and compassion extend not only to our family but also to those around him. The selflessness and kindness he demonstrates serve as a reminder to always approach life with a compassionate heart. In more ways than I can articulate, my dad, Michael Crowley, embodies the qualities of a true role model. His perseverance, unwavering support, and boundless care have left an indelible mark on my life, shaping me into the person I am today.
