What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?
Outside of sports, I like working with children as a volunteer at school functions and events, I like learning new things and helping out. I also like spending time at our family cottage in the summer with my cousins and grandparents, it is fun boating and swimming and catching up with my family that we do not see all of the time.
Who are your role models and why?
My role models are my mom and both of my grandmas. They have all shown me how to be a strong person, stand up for what I believe in and follow my own goals and dreams.
Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?
I enjoy participating in track and field and swimming. I like learning new skills and meeting other athletes and coaches, I think it is important to learn and be coached by different people.
Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?
I have been on the Honor Roll for my Grade 9 and Grade 10 academics.
What program would you like to attend in school?
There are a few post secondary programs that I am currently interested in such as English, kinesiology and social sciences. I would like to eventually attend teachers college and become an elementary school teacher.
How do you envision your school life in college/university?
I would like to live in residence my first year at college or university to meet new people and become really involved with campus life both as an academic and student athlete. I think this would be the best way to learn as much as I can about the college/university and become an active student in campus activities and clubs.
